Price of Memory Stick duo

I was in the market today to buy a 256 or 512 MB Memory stick Pro duo for my K750i. I was quoted Rs 2200 for 512 MB in Sony world, however, the price in local computer market was Rs 1000

Now i do expect a reduction in price going away from sony world, however not this much. I guess maybe the card in local market was counterfait.

What is the price of 512MB memory stick duo pro in your area? that may give an estimate cost in the normal computer market. Both Sony memory cards & Sandisk cards will do

last i heard it was 1.2k for 512mb... prices may have come down..

hey wait... sorry.. it was 1.2k for a 1GB ms... and i think it was a fake... had a cheap lookin sony label on it...
