MP3 Player - Transcend or Sansa

Hi,

I have read the earlier posts on choosing a MP3 player but still am starting a thread to narrow down my choice taking in mind what people said earlier. After reading i have narrowed down to

SanDisk Sansa C250 2GB MP3 Player and
Transcend T.Sonic 610 2gb

now what i need atleast is
1) good sound
2) usable as a pen drive
3) extendable memory
4) recharchable batteries

I would get from US through a friend..

Experts, pls throw some light on this ..
I am open to choose any other player as well with these features and in the same price range.

How much do these models cost in India ?

go for orchid it is better. It gives 1 year replacement warranty.
Transcend is also good. I 'vent tried Sansa.

Transcend T.sonic 610 doesn't have expandable memory. Rest are a yes, recharges only through USB port. So you need access to a PC or a Moto Charger with mini-USB. And yes, go for Transcend, SanDisk prices are insane in India.

Transcend is very good. But doesn't satisfy your 3rd requirement.. The 2GB one cost me 3.2K 2 weeks ago..!

Is Sansa a better option if i get it from the US ( its much cheaper there ..) or you will still suggest Transcend ? Sansa i think solves all the needs and has a normal charging process too.

Sandisk has better audio quality nd some of transcend's features look good only on paper.

Sansa players are direct competitors to Apple's and Creative's line up. They are much better players overall when compared to Transcend players.

Moreover, C250 has all the four features that you wanted. Go for it.

What's your budget btw?
