Software compatibility is its biggest disadvantage.Its the only phone to be released in the Series 90 class of devices.Now Nokia seems to be only concentrating on Series 60 and has decided to merge Series 80 and Series 90 into Series 60 only.So you won't find many software in the future for your 7710.
But if you plan to take a unique device then 7710 is one of its class.

i think u mean incompatibility... And its not a big prob.. Major apps r available.. And neways 7710 is a phased out fone.. A 2nd hand can be got 4 6k.. Good deal..

it's a great phone, though little slow some times. touch screen works very good, and the hand writing recognition is better than the Windows Mobile 5.0
little unstable as well and sometimes it just freezes.

the music is loud and clear on the headphones and equally good on the external speaker.

Camera is ok, may be could have been made better. but if you todays standard it is poor.

got a lot of flaunt value, you have to carry it in your hand because it is a big phone and is sure an eye catcher.

there is a yahoo group called hot7710 where you will get all the software for your 7710.

you will get a 2nd hand phone may be at around 10K with all the accessories and some warranty left on the phone. good phone to try out for a few days.
