Mobile not switching on after a call??!!!

My dad picked up a call and as soon as he clicked on the green phonewala button is mobile powered off. I then put it on charging but still it is not powering on. What could be the reason??

Did you try with some other battery? Maybe there's some fault with the battery.

Phone not switching ON even after charger plug-in?..hmm...you need to take the set to service center.

no i did not try with some other battery... have sent to the service centre...will see what comes up.
