==== how to use my fone for browsing interntet in PC===

hello people,
i have a Nokia 7250i. i want it to use a modem for browsing net in my PC.
for that matter, i have bought a DKU-2 cable compatible for my fone, and also have NOKIA PC suite 6.81 downloaded from Nokia's site. but after installation, the proggy does not recognize my fone.it says 'my fone is not connected'....can anybody help???

Install the PC Suite u got with ur fone in the cd.... 6.81 doesnt recognize older fones

dont need pcsuite...
just download modem driver from nokia site and install..
now whenever you will attach your fon to pc you will see in modems new modem is ther .. create dial up connection using this modem and done

first of all data cable for 7250i is DKU-5/CA-42.
second you need prolific PL2303 drivers to connect the phone.

DKU-2 works only with higher end phones with expandable memory.

i was not sure about cable as when i had 7250i i used dku-5 and IR.

hey somehow i am able to connect my fone using the pc suite.
i also installed the cable drivers for my nokia...my computer also recognized my fone as modem...but i m not able to make a connection...whenever i try to make a conn, the com says the port used by the modem is open n tells me close the port by shuting down any applications tht might be usin it.i tried this but the pc says the prt is still open...help
