Hi guys...
I just wanted to know whether K750i is good or The Walkman series frm SE??
Plz keep the money and supportivity factors in the mind while comparing...

there are no reported joystick problems of k750i. but if you are a keen music buff and intend to double your phone as a music player then go for the walkman series. it will give you better battery life when playing songs as compared to k750. You can compare k750i and w700 for more information.
Edit: both have 2mp cam.

I say go for K750i ONLY if you want a sexy camera....
Then again, I am not too familiar with the Wseries' cameras..if they are as good as K750i or better, don't even bother thinking about it, get W700...

k750 and w800 are basically the same phones. except that k750 got better cam and 800 got better sound. best thing to do would be to buy 750 as it got better hardware and if possible upgrade the firmware with that of 800.

K750i have Joystick Problem but randomly as some user have problem and need to take to service center, if you are in Dusty Environment like Mumbai don't go with K750i.
W800i Rs.12300/- Grey market hence no warranty?
If Budget permits than go with W810i should be between 14000-14500 in Mumbai with Warranty !

Go for Walkman (W700i or W810i) as you get a higher capacity memory stick compared to K750i plus longer battery life, adapter for connecting phone to speakers or your own headphones, music management software etc. The last one doesn't matter much but the earlier ones are definitely a plus.

But I don't think the cam. will be a factor for me for buying any phone..
Then there 's one guy here who says " by adding some good amount of memory you can turn K750i into a more powerful phone than the Walkman series phones." What do you think about this...

So many times I have told this to so many guys...
In terms of Sound quality there s no diff in K750i and ne other w series phone.
Buy K750i and packed HPM-70 headphones(beware there r duplicates in market, buy from sony world only) and there u go with a phone with better looks than orange W series..
10500 for SE K750i
1100 for GB card
1300 For HPM-70 headphones
overall less than w700 phone with added advantage of better looks and autofocus.
Also W700 dosen't have Autofocus....

W810i looks sexy.Plus its a replacement for the W800.So its a no brainer actually.Definetly the W810i!! No doubt about it.

u r right main difference is the headset.
but....... recently i'v heard & also read in a forum that the latest firmware in k750i cause poorer sound than before. it's SE's plan to sale w series

what if i buy k750i and upgrade it with the W810i firmware (i think both of them has got absolutely same hardware). add a 2gb memory stick pro (Rs 1500) and walkman series headphone(around Rs 1200).
now, i think its better than W810i. what u think guyz?

Read here for detail. It's not possible with Latest K750i, only try if the Mfg. date of K750i is Jan-June 05.
Still I advised don't do that as the New Released K750i will Dead if you do the same trick.
Buy W800i it avail @12500/- in Grey Market. Compare W800i with W810i and you will find W800i with more features though W800i have joystick but I didn't hear any problem with W800i Joystick.
