Nokia 5300 ???????

I've a Nokia 6630 and i'm thinking of buying a Nokia 5300.Do u think dat nokia 5300 will be a better set dan 6630.i mean wud it be worth buying a 5300.

yes 5300 is good choice if ur compare with 6630 as 6630 is old and with outdated features god for 5300 any day its better in atleast 10 cases and only bettre things in 6630 compare to 5300 is that 6630's processor is fastest of all thats only diff well that can be ignored cy enjoy

5300 has a very BAD camera, even worse video recording capabilities and the build quality is MUCH worse than the 6630...

My aunt's got one, so I am telling you this based on the problems I have personally seen on the phone...

What is your budget? I'm sure there's tons of stuff out there MUCH better than a 5300...3250 for instance...

My budget is bout 12k.i'll sell my 6630 for 8.5k (negotiable) if u guys can help me decide on a new set.

Nokia 5300 is a S40 phone unlike 6630 which is S60 Symbian phone.They are different in many aspects.If U want a 'Sexy Mobile' with gr8 music capabilities 5300 is a good choice. Remember only a few mobiles support A2DP (Bluetooth Stereo support),even the costlier mobile like N93 (33K) doesn't support A2DP.But.......Nokia 5300 supports it.WOW!!!

i've shortlisted my choice to Nokia 5300,5500 & 6233.Plz suggest which one sud i buy.

If possible, i'd suggest you increase your budget to 14k and buy the SE W810i. It is a great phone with excellent features and performance. It has a 2 mpix camera with auto-focus and flash (the best 2 mpix camera in the market), walkman music player, high quality headphones with 3.5mm slot(again the best quality headphones available with any mobile phone in market), 512 mb memory card supplied, EDGE Class 10, etc.
If you cannot increase your budget, i'll suggest you also take a look SE W700i which is available for 11.5k. Only features it lacks compared to W810i are auto-focus for camera, EDGE, and comes with a 256 mb card instead.

SE w700i has no EDGE support, it only has GPRS class 10....

@assasin: You will find that the 5300 has very mediocre sound quality, atleast compared to my friend's N91,my brother's 3250 and my N80!

I understand that these phones are more expensive, but still...I agree with krazyfrog - SE W700i is an excellent phone...and if you can at all justify the budget increase, W810i is awesome for your requirements!

The only reason i dont wanna buy SE is dat their after sales service veryyyyy bad.
Also plz tell me whether 5300 supports multitasking(listen to music and sufing net at same time).
How does the sound quality of the 5300 and 5500 fare against the 6630.
