Help me with the firmware upgradation of sony ericssion w550i through web. What may be the risk doing it at home? Is there any things that may go wrong during the time of upgradation?

Make sure during upgrading, there should be not be failure of Internet connection and Power supply. Else you will be in deep trouble of getting Phone firmware getting corrupted.

These days many vendors do it for u for just 50 odd rupees so u don't get it corrupted due to power or internet outages.

u have to download the firmwares files...
it will be like in 2 parts..

[1] MAIN
[2] FS

both will be app 21MB and 17MB


****The firmware files have a country region... for india its EMEA6.
