Unhappy mmc write protected


i just bought a card reader to use for a 512 MB mmc in my Nokia N70.when i try to copy files into the card or try to format it, it says : disk write protected : as in the case of a CD drive.there's no such problem when i use pc suite and data cable.
plzz help.

Make sure the card is not password protected from your cell.

I don't think thats the problem. If the card had password, it wouldn't even have showed up on pc.

Btw @shidhin4ever, try formatting your card in your cell and then use it in the card reader. If that doesn't help, try formatting the card in some other phone like 6600, 3230, etc. and then use in card reader.
