Nokia earphones are crap

I have been using Nokia for most part of my mobile life
Right now i own a N70
the headphoenes(HS-3) supplied with it were really good...(almost ipod effect)
but after 6 months of usage...the connector pin gets worn out and it connects loose
only one of ear plug work...so its no more stereo

the same problem is faced by my friend with his 6630's headset (HS-3)

i had shed some money to buy new headphones

paid 325 for HS-23


anyone had similar problems?
any solutions and ideas to prolong the life of nokia headset?

Yes you can, but only the HPM-70 headset. But then the cable will be too short. You'll have to keep the phone in shirt pocket.
