Just go for SONY ERICSSON phones......they have good resolution and the buid quality is also good.
My advice would be to go for SONY ERICSSON J100i.......specifications are as under and you can get it for around Rs. 2000/-. The plus point of this phone is that it has very good BATTERY LIFE.

Don't go for NOKIA 2600 I got one for my grandfather but, believe me that phone sucks.
Phone's resolution is not at all good........IMO if you want colour phone then it should be atleast 65k or else it is useless to have colour phone.
Can go for NOKIA 3100 or 3120 as suggested by other friends.
