All K750i Users Plz Help!!

hi guys

i have questions regarding k750i


1) is there any way to improve the sound quality of k750i speaker
2) from where can i download the firmware of k750i and is it legal and safe
3) how can i update my firmware

plz help thanks a lot

You must be having a CD provided with your phone.
time to use that, find and install SE upgrader service, It has a Flash tutorial on how to update firmware.

Get the external speaker set from SE itself- the one which is given away with SE W810i. Its really gud nd the phone can be charged while playing.

can the firmware be installed by bluetooth

NO. Firmware in phone is like OS in PC. Firmware is installed when phone is switched off, so there is no chance of bluetooth working. You can use only data cable for that.

k750i can be flashed to become w800i the quality i donno and firmware is available at the local mobilewalla shop

I think only available FLASHER ( 750 to 800 ) is not free, thay take $5 for each phone.

CAUTION : After flashing you will loose any guarantee your phone have.

I have seen a post, which shows how to install W800i firmware on K750i from SE official website.

While upgrading firmware, you need to run given exe file first. Then the phone is detected as W800i and its firmware is installed. Since both W800i and K750i are same phones with different outer case, this won't make any difference to phone functionality, it becomes a complete W800i, without any quality loss.
If you want to revert back to K750 firmware, just don't run the exe and phone is detected as K750, and its firmware is installed.

I have not tested this, try at your own risk.

hey bro r u sure that external speakers of w810 r compatible with k750 and what is its price THANKS

ALL accessories made for K750i are compatible with W800i as both are same phones at hardware level, only external case is different. At software level, firmware is interchangable.

Firstly try out at your own risk....and yes this method will
work with RED phones only up to CID36...
One of my friend tried this method and this worked..
also for CID49 phones..there is still no way to update the firmware

hadnt tried though..but seen somewhere in other forums..it works

SEUS has a new version of K750i firmware,

R1DB001
- Released on SEUS for the K750 on 14/09/06.
- Software versions:
LCD 0
Camera 5.3

However this has given problems with the sound quality, & the only way to correct that is to use FAR manager & replace old firmware files

I would say, if u R1CA021 firmware, then don't upgrade
