Help:GPRS using Nokia 6030

hi
i have Nokia 6030
i activate Airtel GPRS from my mobile, i can access sites using mobile browser.

can i access internet from my PC using 6030,
Is 6030 act as modem like 6600,
i bye data cable, but i don't know how to connect it?
pls help me.

not sure if it has inbuilt modem, you can check

on your phone go to Main menu>settings, if you see the the "Connectivity" tab there means it has a modem.

dunno abt cable... but u can do it thru BT...

nd wich version of pc suite do u hav... try 6.8xx .. it may work..

6030 has no BT, IR only data cable... and i guess it has no modem also

No you can acess it. From which network are you using it?

the problem is that the connectivity of gprs is bit diff. in 6030. all problem come due to com port. first check in device manager that your mobile port is not in com1 and make one modem from control panel phone and modem option.
note while connecting your cell to net do not connet ur cell to pc suite.

You have to install Nokia PC Suite 6.x . download from nokia website . After installing the Software let it detect ur phone either by ir or data cable and then from main menu of the pc suite cilck connect to the internet. Select settings and either select ur network or enter the settings manually. Click connect and there u go.
