Nokia 6681 R.I.P

I was removing one application , image editor to free some space from C: since i never used it. went to applications manager and chose to remove it. The progress bar was complete but the phone wasnt going back to normal state...It was stuck with progress bar done completely . Waited for a couple of mins.. didnt get back to normal so forcefully shut it down.

When switched on i could only see time and blank wall paper screen...nothing works...

I have the warranty option but thats going to take some time...got the phone from UAE , is there a way to foramt it ?

P.S. none of the buttons work

Update 1: Re-inserted battery .Can now see contacts and camera button

Update 2: Re-inserted battery. Can now see the interface completely. Phone responding but very very slow. I press menu button now...it opened after 80 secs

Update 3: Phone working alright now. Alhamdulillah. Working with normal pace

Phew...phew... never switch off the phone while an operation is going on...lesson of the story


I also removed my ol 3310 and started charging it to use ...lol

dude go to a local shop take out ur mmc and ask that guy to update the firmware on askin the reason tell ur story and do format ur mmc from somewhere before feedin in ur fone
and plzplzplzplzplz don install apps u arent sure abt
dont aaccept any unknown bluetooth requests
and dont keep porn in ur fone
aand be serious abt this

itll not cost u more than 150-200 bucks
try to bargain or settle for next shop
