Major difference between them is that 810i has edge whereas 700i does'nt.

the differences are that w810i comes packed with 512mb card whereas w700i has a 256mb card plus w810i has a black body and edge connectivity

well,aryayush, everybody has different ears,right? I have just bought the w700i and compared it with my friend's w810i and I felt the w810i's music quality to be better.....sorry if it hurt ur views.............

LOL! Why should it 'hurts' my views... or anything else, for that matter!
I just corrected you because Sony Ericsson does not mention anywhere that they decreased the audio quality of W700i. AFAIK, all WALKMAN PHONES with the obvious exception of W550/600i have the same audio quality. Maybe you have some different settings than your friend.
