how many colors r supported by 6610 ??? so as 2 create wallpapers ...

coz dark colors appear black ...

You don't need to change colours of an image. 6610 will take care of it

Well.. i think digit fora is now getting dumb as most of the old players do not visit anymore ..
You AX3 got 690+ posts and your question suggest as if you know computer from only 1 months or so..
Well no hardfeeling,

just choose any picture in computer and then using any image editing program, resize it to something near to 128x128 and transfer it to phone. you can do that bye IrDA or by data cable. (both are supported by 6610).

Why do you need to limit the image's colours to 4096 before transferring it?

ax3 bhai hindi samjhaun toh aisa hai ki aapko image ke color kam zada karne ki koi zarurat nahi hai nokia's phone are intellegent and will take care of it ...... u dont need to do anything to the colors and as far as photoshop is concerned under the 'image' section on the toolbar u have 'mode' and 'adjustment' controls for changing the colors

well.. well.. I am laughin out loud here . Well, you can use any wallpaper even if trillians of colors but phone will show only 4096 colors, its similar to B/W TV where you are watch everything B/W .

my ? was 2 get a preview of wallpaper with 4096 colors ... so as 2 avoid transfer - delete process on phone again & again ...

well try the nokia pc suite... it has a image install application which customises ur image according to the model...
