I have like 1100$ and I want to buy a laptop computer. I was thinking of buying the Apple MacBook whose price is 1099$. But I have a few quries about it. When I buy it in India will the price be increased?? Also will I be able to run Application like Visual Basic 6.0 , Visual C++ and NFSU2??
If not I would like to buy and IBM/Lenoo laptop of around 36,000INR. which one should I take??

Your applications are not gonna run dude coz they are Windows apps and not MAC OS X stuff and yup the price will be a bit higher so better go for IBM or may be a Dell thing

With bootcamp, now you can run all the three OS'es on the Intel powered macs which includes Macbook. The prices would be on a higher side by 5-10k approx in India. You can run XP like you do on a normal PC on the Macbook which would mean that all the apps you are talking about would run flawlessly on Windows XP on a Macbook. If you are just going in for Macbook to run those apps and would be working on a Windows environment primarily, then it would be better if you go in for a normal laptop according to your needs in a lesser budget like the Lenovo C100 which you are talking about.
