bought the DCU-11 cable and connected to the K300i SE

When i plugged it to the USB port, it looked for the driver and told that it could find the driver for the USB-Serial Controller C.

I looked through the SE Global Area Support and downloaded the driver for the DCU-11 cable and tried to install the drivers manually,but still it says, 'cannot find the drivers'.

I'm not sure if i need to turn on anything on my mobile before i do a sync.

Please help.

i mean remove all the drivers u installed 4 the fone and then plug in the cable and select computerised search am sure it can help

First run the installer of the cable, it'll store the required driver files into appropriate folders.
Then attach the cable to computer and windows will automatically install the drivers.....

This is a common problem in DCU-11 as the bundled software in the cd will not work.

Just Install the cable drivers manually, then download Sony Ericsson File Manager from www.sonyericsson.com

OR

You can get the SE File Manager is some recent Digit CDs/DVDs.

You can also use My Phone Explorer instead of SE File Manager.
