Mobile is crashing !!

I hav an old ( 3yrs old ) samsung c-100 mobile . It was working fine untill the last few days . Sometimes ,( random ) , it mobile freezes , no keys work , but everything else is fine . i can hear my ringtone and the display when someone calls me , but no button i press can receive the call . Even after the call , no button does anything , i simply cant do anything with the mob. I hav to remove and re-insert the battery to correct it . I hav also observed that at one time , the date and time werent going right.One of my friends suggested that it is some prob with its soft . What should i do ?

Goto Samsung service center and ask them to upgrade the firmware of ur phone!

Its 100% safe, if its done by experts.
U can do it urself but it requires special hardware, which r costly!

So better u goto Service center and ask them to upgrade the firmware...
