Guys!

Today I got SE k700i and yes! Its an amazing phone!
Now I'm starting this thread to share various s/w, ringtones, applications, themes, etc. for this gr8 phone!

So guys! I request u to pls post here the s/w name and if possible then also d/l link, for this phone!

As there r various s/w available for Nokia phones, like Nokia PC Suite, MobiMB, Oxygen Phone Manager, etc., similarly can u guys pls post here about the s/w which r available for k700i ?

And also post the tips-n-tricks for this phone and any suggestions if u hv for this phone!

PS: Can u guys pls tell me how to MUTE the Camera sound in this phone? Changing to Meeting profile and setting to Silent mode doesnt help!

Now pls answer my following questions:

First I would like to tell u guys that I'm completely NEW to Bluetooth, Infrared coz I never used a mobile with such facilities!

1.) So my first question is this: I want to use my phone's bluetooth feature to transfer files to/from mobile/pc. Hence what things would I need ? and pls also mention the BEST company and model!

2.) I also want to get a DATA cable for this phone! So pls tell me which cable does this phone support? and how much will it cost?

3.) Pls post the tutorial to connect to net using this phone! I hv BSNL Prepaid SIM.

4.) This phone also supports videos in mp4 format coz in my phone I got 2 videos (1 from Saaki and 1 from Lucky) and both r in mp4 format. So can ne1 pls tell me the BEST s/w to convert other video files into mp4?

5.) I got following s/w for this phone:

Sony Ericsson PC Suite
FloAt's Mobile Agent
MyPhoneExplorer
MOBILedit

But "FloAt's Mobile Agent" doesnt detect my phone, I tried using Bluetooth. Can u guys pls tell me what settings should i change to make it detect my phone?

And finally, ne other s/w, which u guys will want to recommend for this phone!

Ya it is really frustrating to get connected with bluetooth, My experience is
UNINSTALL the driver file (Which if you have installed from the CD that come with the BT), Restart PC put the BT in the USB port let the PC choose it's driver own, means XP's default driver . It works for me
Some of our friend (probably infre_red_dude) gave me this advice .

well about the software for mp4 i am using
Imtoo's Mpeg Convertor worls very well for me so should work for you as well
iam using the aac format for music files on the phone
for that iam using itunes simple and best (encoded @128kbps)

About the not able to connect FMA to your phone
there is a "serial port service" that you need to enable
this can be done through your bluetooth software
iam using bluesoleil's dongle,software so i get an option
where i can activate its "Serial Port Service A"

now to make it work in Fma
go to tools>>>options>>>connectivity>>>
enable-Serial/Virtual Port
under it select COM 4 >>>>ok
now try connecting with the phone
hopefully should work

Yes! Mine is also bluesoleil's dongle and I also enabled the Serial Port Service A opion, yet can't set FMA to detect my phone!!!

And also pls tell which kind of DATA Cable this phone support? (like Nokia phone supoorts DKU-5 cable).

And what about connecting to net using this phone?
