Hi guys,

my friend bought a n6270 and i think it is a s40 phone ..could anyone suggest any application to view .avi movies on phone and a file manager .. Since i cant find any java apps

There are very less applications available for java in the multimedia segment. It will play only the files supported by the phone. You can try www.gatjar.com.
Another method is to convert the .avi files into files supported by Nokia 6270 which are : 3GPP, H.263 video, MPEG-4, and AMR
