Better sound E398 vs SE W550i

hi guyes,
i was thinking of selling my e398 and taking w550i.
some question i have

1.sound quality and volume which is better(speaker and ear phone).

2.screen quality

3.blue tooth supporting 4 stereo hedset.

4.'white screen of death' is it true.

guyes who have both of them or seen/tested/played with them please tell me.

answers from my side...

1. Sound quality is simply owesome in SE w550i.....anytime better than E398.

2. Screen quality too is good but camera pics aren't as great as nokia 3230, though both have same camera resolution.

My opinion:-

go for moto L7 instead of w550i as moto has expandable memory rather can a fixed 256mb of w550i...also its 2-3K cheaper than w550i......but if u want a good camera phone as well then go ahead & buy w550i coz moto L7 cam is well bellow par...

clearly its my take on those phones ...some may think differently...

i know its avaliable in ebay.in,
but just wanna clear the doubt.

Yup, it is. I use W550i. The problem can be countered though on upgrading the firmware, the option of which is present on the phone itself and is very easy to do. Been using it for four months and have had no problems since the upgrade. Absolutely ROCKING phone!!

althouh e398 was a gre8 set of dat time(2004-05) but now its nothing in compare to w550i

get ur facts right and try not to confuse people! its moto e398 and se w550i. anywayz, i'd suggest to go in for w550i as its a newer generation phone wid better cam. of corz the advantage that e398 has is the option of expandable memory. but then anything over than 256mb and the phone acts wierd (that maybe an isolated case wid my fren tho!).

e398 has gone old but it is acceptable now also for its features.
if u wanna upgrd anyway
go for an i-pod cum mobile ie. MOTOROLA ROKR it is anyway better than SE!
as it has Apple i-pod tag on it.

No man .. Its very sad they didnt release it india ..
But
Why dont you wait for ROKR E2 ..
That one has 1.3MP Cam,
support for MP3, ACC & even WMA too ..
On top of that a Standard 3.5mm Socket inbuilt.

True E398 is still good
Now even the next model ROKR E2 is commin check that out here ... Damm good phone
