i prefer prepaid as i can monitor the costs. thats the biggest pro for me. the con is that if i hafta use gprs facility, it proves costly for me.

I too prefer prepaid for the same reason as infra. On the cons side my friends also using hutch get 1000 mins talktime and 1000sms free every month.

agree with you all, though the call rates are higher than postpaid, but prepiad puts the user under control using limited talktime, so i think prepaid is the best option for beginners.also no deposits in prepaid

I prefer postpaid as I don't need to worry about the costs while talking and can use it withcomfortability. I did try pre-paids but the very fact that my amount is getting deducted every second just doesn't let me use it at ease.

Secondly, on Zero Rental Scheme I get to talk what I pay for, contrary to almost half of the amount paid deducted as taxes and others in pre-paid vouchers( I am not aware of the current scenario).

Last but not the least, my postpaid bill is received by my dad while I would have to spend my own pocket money for vouchers

.
It depends !

I prefer Postpaid coz we need not worry about balance etc while makin calls, no need to go to buy prepaid vouchers etc

I use Reliance FWP (postpaid) for more than 12 months and I went to their office to pay the bill only once, all the time I paid it through internet. Lazy me ! Thats also a reason. I use Airtel postpaid too

Agree with dikudik as we have to request (mostly its just SMS though, except for deposits) various services in postpaid, and in prepaid they are all ready

Both are good depending on your needs. You can see the pros and cons of both mentioned by different posters. Now you have to decide what suits you.

sudipto of course those games stay in your cell phone. This is one bad thing about orange GPRS. People are known to exploit that one.

Prepaid as you can control your expenses and also enjoy all services.
Also with tough competition can also grab the great offers from time to time.
