What are symbian phones???

Hi friends.
I m new to the mobile world, hence dont know much about them.
I was just wondering on some mobile stuff providing sites for my SE K300i and there I saw some games etc. for different phones like Symbian phones , java enabled phones , etc.
I coudnt understand what they meant???
Mine is a SE k300i and I was looking for some games to download and install in my phone.
Please tell me about Symbian and java enabled phones and which games can be downloaded to my K300i and also the procedure to install these games in my SE k300i.
Please excuse me if u think I m Dumb and guide me.

Symbian is an OS for mobile phone just like windows is for our PC.

SE k300i isn't a symbian enabled phone so you can't install symbian softwares in it.

K 300i is a semismart fone which works on some proprietry OS of SE where as symbian is a smartfone OS which supports different user interfaces like Series 40, Series 60 Series 90 frm Nokia and SE's Symbian UIQ

ok , now can anyone please help me by guiding on how to install java games in k300i.
I have already transferred many ringtones , mp3 songs and wallpapers from my PC to my phone through SE file manager via data cable.
Now , what is the procedure for installing java games in k300i.
please help.
