HUTCH CONNECTION RECHARGE question..

i am new to PrePaid Mobile.Earlier used Relaiance Post paid (DAPO) for 3 years so require a bit info about prepaid.
I took a Hutch connection and its validity is till 30 DEC.The dealer gave rs 200 card and 50 rs topup. Now my question is
after 30 December ,what to .will i need to buy a recharge card .What is the card denominations .Plz clarify in layman terms.

yes u'll need to buy a recharge card and refill ur account on or before 30 december to keep ur connection active. otherwise ur incoming and outgoing will be barred.

denominations available: rs.199,rs.350,rs.550,rs.1100,rs.2200 etc...other denominations are also available.

alternatively u can try the chota recharge, which won't enhance ur validity in anyway but the top up value u get it 90% of the denomination.

what r the benefits of Rs 350 plan instead of rs 200)other than talktime.

so that means that if a buy a card of rs 199 , i get a talk timeo rs180.
but theres another pnal of rs 198 that offers only rs 130 talk time .Why is it so.

plz tell about rs 999 chal;te raho offer.Suppose i pay Rs 999 the i will get total incoming free.Now say after my Rs 25 talktime is over if i get rs 350 card will i get the full rs 350 talktime or rs 200 talktime because i heard that we will get full talktime on recharges.

see the chal chala chal prepaid u cannot club any other offer wid it u will get full talktime after deducting 10% service tax if u recharge for 1000 u will get 900 rs as talktime ok and this can be of any amount from rs. 10 to the amount which u wanna refill

so after the Rs 25 talktime is over everytime i get a card (say of Rs. 150) then i get a talktime of Rs 140 something....Right.....

Thanks . I recharged my Hutch connection with rs 330 card.Now i want to activate GPRS.What is the procedure of activating GPRS in KOLKATA.Today is 29th so if i activate GPRS today will it be valid till 28 th of next month(30 days) or till 31 th.What will be the charges.

it will be valid till 29th if its activated today
to activate jus send ACT HW to 144/140(free of charge)to check when is ur due for gprs send ST HW to the same no. u will recieve a conformation message that it will b activated within 72 hrs
then send HW N6600* n stands for nokia and send the model u r usin ifits 6630 then send HW N6630 to 123(2 rs. per sms) u will get settings save them and then wait till ur gprs is activated
if u r a prepaid customer u will be charged 49rs for activation and 10paise per 10kb downloads even if u download 1 kb will be charged 10 paise if u download 11kb then 20paise each wap site is around 15-20kb so 20 paise per page
content from free sites like www.zedge.no is free only transfer charges while charged apps have charges displayed+download charges

can anyone tell by giving a example of the TOTAL charges of downloading a RINGTONE or wallpaper to my Cell.

if ringtone is free only 10-20 paisa else 7-10 rs +20 paisa go to www.mobango.com register download stuff on ur pc upload it on www.mobstorage.com note down the no.
then go to wap.mobstorage.com put the no. u have noted down then download it(total charges will be comparitevly less)

Gprs will be active for 30days from the day you activate it
i.e if you activate gprs say today dec 29
then it will last upto 28th of jan

but what about the charges???

The customer service officer said that rs 16 will be deducted from balance and this balance will be there till 15th of Jan2006.after 15th rs 49 will be automatically deucted .IS this right and on what basis is the amount deducted.plz explain.

i recently got a new k700i so got GPRS activated
went down to the hutch store to get it done
i was told every month i would be charged Rs 49
and apart from that i would be charged for whatever data tranfer i do i.e 10 paise / 10 kb

look up this link since iam from mumbai
iam only charged Rs 49
while it is diffrent for Kolkata and Rest of Bengal
i guess you need to clearly clarify with an Hutch Customer Service Executive
