want 2 know about phone with GPRS (class 10) Modem under 6K

hi,
i plan 2 buy a phone under 6K. it must have GPRS(class 10) Modem.
brands : Sony Ericsson, Samsung, LG, Motorola, Nokia. Please give some suggestion.

lg G1800-rs 5700-class 10
in samsung u will get class 8 GPRS under 5k.
u can go for nokia 3220-Camera ANd edge.

what about samsung C230 or C210? i hear that they also have good signal receiving capacity. :roll:

and tintin , i saw nokia and think display quality of nokia 3220 is not good as samsung and LG 1800. but it's really EDGE supported

and its MRP as per nokia ad. is Rs.6049. Are you sure

i know about 3230 with camera, good display quality, and EDGE. But it cost about 13500.

k300i will be 6.1k wit nice cam quality n video capture+mp3+media player+IR+etc. with gprs n mms ofcourse

First do'nt believe your local handset sellers they will tell you every phone with GPRS to be having modem. For example they told me Nokia 3120, SE 230i etc have modem but they do'nt have.

I have done a lot of research for this in past. Following results are based on nearly one month of research on Internet.

Cheapest Nokia Phone with Modem is Nokia 3220 @Rs. 4800
Cheapest Sony Ericsson Phone with Modem is SE K300i @ Rs. 5000
Cheapest LG Phone with Modem is LG B2070 @Rs. 3500

Conclusion: LG B2070 is the cheapest Phone with modem for browsing Internet on your PC using your Phone's GPRS connection.

The prices may vary a little.
