S/W for SE K300i

Hi Guys,

I bought an SE K300i for my brother. I also bought a duplicate cable for connecting it to my PC. The shopkeeper gave me a CD with some S/W. But on installing the S/W and connecting the cable, my mobile was not recognised. I tried SE`s original S/W and it too did not work. Is there any other S/W available or can u give me any other suggestions to connect the mobile to my PC and transfer files ?

ok guys i have a k300i, igot a ir dongle but it didnt work so this is what i did

go to the site www.zedge.no
register over there, ofcourse for free
now there is something called upload shack
go on it and upload the file u want from ur pc on to the site(max 2000kb)
now open gprs in ur mobile
go to the site wap.zedge.no
login there with the same id and password as above
now go to MY UPLOAD SHACK option
and viola u can download the file u uploaded from pc

1st of all checkout ur connections properly.

u must be missing 1 thing....after u install ur software n plugin ur handset....u need to verify d com port where its pluged in...check out in device manager (my computer-properties) to which com port is it using...

for eg. let it be "com 3"

now right-click s/w icon in task bar...select configure...goto ports tab....n enable "com 3" there...select ok....wait for sometime ur phone will be recognised

just install the cable drivers properly and run the FMA2 software. it'll automatically detect the virtual com port that the phone is using!
