Bluetooth USB Dongle Quality

I have just purchased a Bluetooth USB Dongle for Rs. 450.
Off course it is a unbranded one. It just says model EF-388, nothing else.
The branded one (Billionton 100mtrs), was for Rs. 1050.

Can anybody tell what is the difference between them?
Please just don't say quality. But, in what terms they differ?
Is there something I will really miss, without the branded one?

nothing much except the reliability.The unbranded ones have a greater chance of conking off unexpectedly.

i don't agree! my fren has been using one since an year! rough usage too!

the BT transfer speed is poor compared to the cable.
BT takes almost like 1 min/mb
heck, it sucks...

mine has been working perfectly for over a year too.I just said they are more unreliable bcoz the quality of the chips used are inferior compared to those used in the branded ones.

Man i get around 3 mb/sec using my nokia 6260 nd frontech bt dongle (rs 475) and i thought that was slow

I have been using a unbranded dongle for past 5 months without problems.
