Default General : Memory full close some applications and try again

My 6600 has been working fine for about a year, but today and yesterday its just not sending messages, it retries several times then says "General : Memory full close some applications and try again" I've taken the battery out and put it back in and made sure nothing was running.

Anyone got any ideas???

hmm..delete ur message/sms's and also some other stuff like fotos, etc.
how many system apps do u have running at a time ? check that up. maybe some app like ivsm, antivirus, etc which authostart r gobbling ur resources.

use appman or fexplorer : it has an option to compress/free memory. fexplorer is freeware. http://www.gosymbian.com/FE_download.html
if u want appman, pm me ur emailid.

I did a deep reset.. That solved the problem.. Before reset, the file "smssegst.dat" located under C:\System\Data was about 250 kb Now its less than 750 bytes Reckon that was the cause of the problem.. Cheers dude
