Accessing Internet through Nokia 6020 or Nokia 3100

Hi Guys,

Well , i have got a new Nokia 6020 and a old Nokia 3100. I want to know whether these mobile phones can be used as a Modem. So, That i can access net through these mobiles. I have tried all combinations. I will be using IDEA GPRS to access Net. Presently,i m also having NOKIA PC SUITE 6.5 along with DKU-5 USB CABLE.

Please help me out how would i configure these mobiles to work as a modem. PLease let me wat all driver i will need to install modem.

1. Get Nokia PC Suite 6.6
2. Install PC Suite
3. Restart Computer
4. Connect 6020 to the computer with DKU 5 cable

After doing the above things ..
Install cable drivers n restart
Then connect the phone not before that.

If you are running on Winxp .. the driver for modem will be automatically installed .. on connecting the phone.

btw I want to tell you dear the dku-5 will not work with 6020 for the Internet Dial up. you need CA-42 cable or IrDa port.

So, you should do the above said .. and try wether it works..
