I am finally planning to buy Nokia 6630,but some of my friends suggested
me to wait till diwali ends as according to them companies hike their price during this period. I too have a same experience with a samsung product i brought few years ago.Will the price of 6630 fall after Diwali.HELLPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!

Well, what most compnies do is offer discounts during Diwali to get more people to buy their products. Also, they introduce offers/freebies to further entice people. Since Diwali is not that far off, I guess you could wait.

Another resource you can refer to is IndiaGSM. Be warned though that most of their prices are outdated. You can get a better idea of thr prices if you say where you intend to buy a cell phone from

Through my source of information, Prices are coming down after diwali. Nokia 6600 is coming for 9300 I think. Nokia is not giving any offers in this diwili season So better to wait and see.

In gsm you can buy Nokia 2600, Nokia 3120, SonyEricsson J200i.
Go for Nokia 3120 in my opinion, you will never regret this buy.

And in cdma go for Reliance it is far better sevice than Tata.
Tata is cheper but not good in service.
You can go for Nokia 2112, Nokia 3105 or Nokia 3125 in cdma.
These are the models offering reliance in you price range.
May be the 3125 a bit expensive. For details contact nearest reliance webworld.

Yes,Nokia 3120 is a more stable phone which supports GPRS also.IMHO,gsm connection preferably Hutch Prepaid (which supports even GPRS for Rs.49+usage),we can enjoy net in pocket.

Both Tata Indicom & Reliance have similar coverage in the city.. Reliance may be better bcoz you can have roaming everywhere
For the network converage .. you got to check with local people for their experiance.

But you can go for Tata Indicom for cheaper tariffs

For the handsets ... under cdma you have to choose from available co. provided only -->Here<--

Nokia 6585 is good (dont know the price)
So,
.. if you can post the model nos. I can tell which 1 is better

Prefer Nokia for the longer bettery time.

nope. the minimum amount that u must spend is about 7k (SE k300i class phone) but then it has only 12mb memory so its more like just hafing mp3 ringers rather than mp3 songs. same is the case wid moto c650, dunno if this model is still available. spend at least 9k if u wanna listen to mp3 songs.

well if you are an audiophile...get SE phones...no phone can beat them in their respective categories! the only prob is the memory expansion wid some of the models.
