Hmmm

I have a question . I see lot posts regarding FREE SMS through websites . The question , is there any chance the site people will misuse mobile numbers ? I mean making a huge databse of mobile numbers and using it for sending ads (spam - sms ) . I was asking coz I remember an editorial in DIGIT (4-5 months back) about the sms-spam . Like people sendin ads about computer courses etc as sms . So after the email spam , will these lead to sms spam ? As there are email address selling companies , will there be valid-mobile-phone-numbers selling companies ?

@din i agree that can be a problem.....the main thing is that people should not forget their etiquettes and go everywhere u get something for free. for me, i wont believe it until a lot of people are using it and are happy with it. for sms spam, just 2 days back i got sms from yahoo on my mobile. cos i use that service, logging in on mobile. u can call it spam, but as it doesnt disturb me im fine with it

Now a days we are very careful with our e-mail IDs because of SPAM. But it appears we ready to give our mobile no. in any website if we can get even 1 sms free
