How to use infrared in 6610i

Hi to everyone. i and my friend have 6610i nokia we both want to use infrared so can anybody tel me how can we use infrared in 6610i and suppose if i want to transfer one pic or ptone from my phone to his phone is it possible ? i mean my main question is can infrared is used phone to phone or only phone to pc or pc to phone and if pc to phone or vise versa how it is done ?

for pc tp phone u will need to have infrared device attached to ur comp... they r cheap for abpout 400 or so....
for phone to phone both shud have infrared

Infrared in 6610/6610i has limited features. You cannot directly send/receive files using IR. What you can do is to send receive calender events and notes, the text part. To manage ringtones and wallpapers, you will have to use a PC-Phone IR with use of Nokia PC Suite software.
