Strange problem with data cable
Hi, I have a Nokia X2-00. I have two data cables- the original Nokia cable which came with the phone (CABLE A) and another cable which I bought from a shop (CABLE B). Whenever I connect my phone to my pc with the newer cable (CABLE B), the data transfer stops after about 10 seconds (both in Nokia mode and in mass storage mode). However, the device functions perfectly with the original Nokia cable (CABLE A) which came with the phone. Surprisingly, the other cable (CABLE B) works with the shopkeeper's phone on his PC, so why is that cable not working properly with my phone on my PC? I've tried by attaching the cable in all ports of my PC but it didn't made a difference. Also, my USB ports are functioning perfectly as I regularly use other devices on them.
Please suggest a solution or the problem.

Re: Strange problem with data cable
The cable might be bad. Anyways see if using this software helps copying through the bad cable
