i have qd and i love my phone because of its gr8 shape its just 6 months old and i got a bit tired cos in six months the software got corrupted twice and i lost all my contacts. other options are good but its old now.

but i still love my phone and am gonna use it. the main reason....its shape which i love alot

ngage is not officially available in india. u'll get it only in the grey market. it was never launched in india. the ngage qd retails for a max. of 7k here in bangalore.

Yes coz it is meant for gaming but when it comes to writing message or calling a number fast, It is a headache. Well it is not bad choice if you wanna enjoy music and lay down you hand on portable gaming like need for speed, splinter cell, contra etc. Also Its sound hardware is very good. Insert a 512 MB card + mp3 software and it becomes a walkman.

I own the mobile and I really love it. What if it is slightly bulky, at Rs. 7500 or 8000 as it costed me, who will give you a symbian 60 mobile? and it is pretty fast in games and video playing. Put in 256 mb mmc and you are all done with your own entertainment house.

256mb will cost ya about 1.2k or so....i guess. not sure as i dun use it. but the ngage qd is availble for less than rs.7k now!

in my state when i asked for the cost of it .
shopkeepers r saying tht its cost is 7,3K without mmc and with it cost is 10K

Hey buddy,

I purchased it from here gujarat at Rs, 8000 and mmc card is costing around Rs. 800 for 1 month warranty and 1400 for 4 YEARS warranty(256 mb). So better not to opt for warranty and don't overpay for that.

For memory card .. take Dual Voltage MMC, ...It wont hang in your Ngage
You can easily put 512MB DV-RS MMC

Ok guys.. I tell you in brief

There are three types of cards that Nokia phone currently use:-

1. MMC - For 6600, Ngage

2. Then comes nxt RS-MMC ... It stands for Reduced Size Multi Media Card

This is used in 3230, 6670, 7610, etc.
It cant be used with 6600 etc.

3. Latest is DV-RS MMC .... Dual Voltage MMC for 6630, 6680 etc.

This card can be used with ngage, etc ..

2) 256 mmc (can i hav ordinary mmc for 6630?)

but 256mb mmc cost of bout 1300rs here

You must check the prices locally ..
Even the nokia dealer quote the prices wrongly ..
He said 1600 for 256MB then I said give the final rate
He said He has to confirm

After makin the call .. He said 2000 for the Dual-Voltage
I was angry on him

But cant do anything .. So.. plz confirm twice that he quoting rite!

Simply posting the 256mb doesnt make it valid for 6630

When you buy the Ram ..
remember when you must have gone for Ram ..

SD-Ram or DDR-Ram .. latter is expensive

There is big difference in prices .. dear

Dual-Voltage ... Cards are expensive

256MB should be around Rs. 2000
