    Default LG P500 WiFi Proxy authentication

    Hey

    I want to use my college Wifi on my cellphone the problem is since my phone (LG P500) has android version 2.3.7 oxygen rom it does not give option for authentication while connecting to proxy and to connect to my college wifi all data passes through a proxy and you have to enter your username, password to authenticate the proxy. I used apps like Autoproxy (they have authentication options)to connect to Wifi but it fails whereas my friends having phones like HTC Desire V could easily connect to Wifi due to inbuilt proxy authentication option. What should I do ?

    ICS ROM's support advanced settings. Try them otherwise find some 3rd party application.

    I heard ICS is not stable in terms of battery specially ?

    Well, Not like GB Ofcourse. If you don't want to leave GB you may need to find some other 3rd App.
