Connectivity Adater Cable for Nokia 3230

I do have a Nokia 3230. Recntly I have purchased a Connectivity Adater Cable (DKU-50) to connect to my PC.
A bit confused how to install it, tried but the phone is not recognised.
Please let me know in details.
A new chip of 256 MB was installed in place of the original 32 MB chip.

Sorry , not sure about adpater , but Y not a bluetooth dongle ? I use N 3230 and BT dongle , works perfect for me , for all connectivity , then for internet ( GPRS ) etc . Cost is <650 Rs I think , I mean BT dongle

Nokia 3230 is not compatible with DKU 5 cable. You have to buy the DKU 2 cable for it. I own this phone and I also own the DKU 2 Cable.

It doesnt matter what meomary card you are using.
