NOKIA 6630 OR SE K750I

Hi friends

I want to buy a new cell, but I am unable to decide which worth more

Nokia 6630 OR SE K750i

Intially I want to buy a K750i costing Rs 17500 , as it has 2 MP Camera and FM Radio, and a high class mp3 player

On the other hand Nokia 6630 cost Rs 13700 when last enquired. Last week it cost around Rs 17200. That means its price fall by almost 20%. which is why I thought it wud be a better buy than K750i.

But 6630 lacks FM Radio, and 2 MP Camera
also it has 65 k instead of 252k (K750i)
and it only supports RS MMC Card (Dual Voltage)
which is more expensive than regular mmc card.

But it also have some advantages over K750i
Like 1. EDGE
2. Symbian OS (for installing 3rd party softwares)
3. Better built

Both of them have some advantages over each other,
but i am unable to decide which will worth more for its price.

Please help me out !

Well, i Think Nokia cause

1) its S60
2) Addon FM is available
3) Good resale value

750i is excellent for camera.. rest u can get on 6630..

Where i can get a addon fm and how much will it cost.

I think u get original for around Rs. 1200 for pop port .. just check up with ur vendor.. should work for 6630 .. not sure..

you know it better!

k750i has fm; camera & sound better than 6630.
6630 has edge (your sp must support. if not, soon it will ) speed upto 15 KB/s on airtel. not tested k750i but, must be equivalent as both have class 10 gprs.
you can install 3rd party softwares even on k750i but, only java.
one more thing you need to know, video quality (record/play) is better in 6630 than k750i. and k750i does not support rm, wmv. playing games is fun in k750i due to joystick.
memory card is cheaper for nokia. connecting k750i to pc is child's play. the basic driver (memory card only) is just 600kb and xp downloads it instantly. so u can connect anywhere u have internet & usb. connecting nokia is pain. u must install 20mb+ cable driver, requires xp sp2.

i have k750i because my needs were camera, mp3 player, fm & ui themes (best to show off).
if nokia is tech, se is fun i must say....
go by ur needs.

SE is known for its sound quality,...
if u have a huge budget go for it...
u can buy a 1 gig memory stick and load around 250 songs in it...
6630 is only good that it is symbian
and add on FM is an external thingy that hangs out..costs 250 in chennai
i would suggest 750

YEs it is true 6630 cost around 13.7k .
Nokia has decresed the price by Rs. 3500 only for this model nothing else.

as 6630 prices fallen off below 14k, it does have better value for money.

nokia decreased price of 6630 to compete k750i...... just a wild guess

everyone gonna take 6630

In someway its good .. but it is very annoying to see a 3G phone priced
same as the non-Edge phone?? ..

hey..is that rate 13.7k without bill or with bill? i guess its without bill..then wat wud b the rate with bill?
i heard the rate in delhi was 15k with vat @ 4%. wat wud the price b here(TN) without vat???

I dont know about Chennai, but in kolkata many dealer are selling it for 13.7 with bill and warranty.

Whats the rate of 6600, 6670 & 7610?? .. with bill

Go for K750i if

1) U need a Rally good camera
2) Music player, better use MP4 at 64 kbps with 44.1 KHz
3) 102 MB memory from the beginning, 64 MB Memory stick & 38 MB internal
4) Unlimited video recording up to free memory

U won't be able to install software like 6630, but trust me, everything is already there, U won't need to install any other software, if U want U can get JAVA based software

Go for 6630

1) If U want Nokia
2) EDGE, which is very costly right now in India
3) Better video recording, in frame rates
