Aircel Mobile Internet Speed Problem

hi , I have nokia 5130 xpress music and the service provider is AIrcel , Delhi.
My problem is that when i using the mobile internet on the pc i have got a very little bandwidth . even i can't open the google homepage.. i am fed up of using this operator but as this give a cheap rate of facility that's why m still using it. please help me how to get more bandwidth so that i can use it very well and also could get some speed for my downloads.

I am sure you might be using 99 rupees per month plan. I too have used this plan and you are very true when you say that it has very slow speed. The best way to fix this problem is to use 3g phones and services too ought to be 3g. This technology has higher data transfer rate and you would be benefited a lot using this.
So please go for 3g mobiles despite of relying on these ordinary mobile phones.

Yes, Aircel is damn slow. Instead give a try to DoCoMo. For the same price, it offers quite better bandwidth.

It's slow. I've very bad experience with aircel postpaid. they have cheated me around rs. 500. their customer care & nodal officer don't even bother to give reply.

i use aircel in jhansi and speed are damm good for 2g.... i get about 20-25kBps speed most of the time....

I am also using IDEA 98 plan. Works very good on mobile and when connected to PC speed becomes little slow but not that much slow that we can't even open Google homepage. Downloading using Internet Download Manager still gives 15-20KB/s speed on an average.

Why dont you try Airtel ? And yeah browsing at peak hours via aircel will result in slower bw.. Aircel sucks though imo

I use to recharge my Aircel with unlimited pocket internet pack every month & as usual both download/surfing speeds were terribly slow specially at night. This month I recharged my a/c with Rs.78 2GB pack & now my EDGE is seriously fast. So try using a 2GB pack.

The link says : Unlimited for 98(Prepaid).

But there is still a 2GB limit! What the crap is this from Aircel! They havent mentioned it with any starts or conditions. In plain text it says, Unlimited Internet on your Mobile or PC!!

I consumed it in 6 days, unknowingly that it was just limited to 2GB, instead was told that it is unlimited by the executive at the Aircel office, who sold me the sim! Ahh . . lost the 40rs bal as well. Now since i went there and complained, they have recharged my no with 98 for free of cost, but still i';; onlu get 2GB for that!
BSNL was doing good for me. 3GB for 98, wasted money for aircel!

unlimited upto 2Gb. all mobile service provider says the same. unlimited with font of size 50 & upto 2Gb or conditions apply with font of size 1 whom to blame. all are same.

@OP All 2G networks have almost same speed. It mainly depends on two things. One, At what time you are using the internet. Two, how far away are you from the respective tower. So you should check with these 2 things.

PS: I think the OP is using Rs. 250 Pack. # Months Unlimited, No conditions. Plus You get 150min. free Aircel to Aircel calling. I myself use the same plan.

dnt know about your regions but here in up east i get the following
47-1gb internet
78-2gb "
98-really unlimited+100 local msg+100local aircel min+ sometime 30rs talktime if you get msg for tslktime offer....
i'm currently on 98 unlimited plan,used abt 5gb last time and as mentioned above speed ranges from 14kBps to 25kBps....
