atleast decide the budget..

otherwise Samsung E2152 with plastic keypad is worth for rs 2500.

If your dad is the average "Desi Dad" who wants sturdy phone with long battery life for talking with lots of relatives and maybe some official calls and does nothing else with his phone, I suggest you take a look at Nokia X1-00. Priced around 1900INR and has phone, messaging and MP3 player. Nokia BL-5J battery. Huge battery life.

If you want extra GPRS, bluetooth, modem and camera facilities, there is Nokia C2-00. Although I think its wise to buy extra BL-5C battery along with C2-00 if you want really good battery life. Price around 2600INR.
