Default SGSII Display Problem

I recently had my display replaced due to the yellowish tint
and now today when I got my mobile the yellowish tint was not visible in this display
But this display looks like the colors are washed, the display feels inferior to what my original was. Now the catch is will they change it again because the colors are not right?

Also as soon as I look it from a slight angle there is a instant bluish tint, which goes to pink as i increase the angle, something which was not there with the original display...

EDIT:My original display had darker colors, this one has lighter colors.

What should I do?!

It's a known issue with SGSII, I myself went through the pain of replacing 4panels for the same issue.

Shoot a mail to Samsung india, throw the phone on their service center incharge's face, ask them to give you a new phone, no screen change nothing.

Else you can also get a full refund cheque from Samsung citing the display issue, coz the issue is persistent no matter how many screen changes you make.
Also check for pink spots in Camera images, just try to shoot a complete white background(Eg. White paper sheet)
you should be able to see a big pink spot in the center of the image, even in live view.
Phones with significant yellow patch issue have this issue as well.

Regarding washed out colors, you can try DarkyROM2 with supercore 1.8 kernel, which has better color saturation over most of the ROM's.

UPDATE:

Try this app to change color values and see if it is okay for you, instead of flashing a new ROM just for color saturation.

Screen Adjuster

Thanks for your inputs... i tried screen adjuster didnt help... there is some problem with colors..
I already had to fight a lot for the yellow tint with the employees stating every s2 has it
They don't understand it's a defect. I will go there tomorrow can't adjust with this.used to my old display colors on this one are way too light older one had rich and deeper colors

what about the viewing angles... Why there is sudden greenish tint on sight change in angle?
Some web pages with white/gray backgrounds appear pinkish

Same here after going through 4 display changes & 3 replacement phones, I gave up. Current screen has slight tinge on Grey background, otherwise everything is fine.

But during my second replacement I tried Dark ROM 2 and the green tint almost disappeared. So, if the samsung staff delays replacement, give the rom a try.

waiting for my USB jig.
They denied replacement last time. I will try to press on, lets see

that's a heck of replacements! considering average 1 week for display changes
almost 2 months away from phone, I was missing it badly in 1 week itself.

Though the performance of S2 is very good but this is the reason which stops me from suggesting it to anyone here on TDF

No, I never gave them my phone, whenever the replacement display comes, I go in, get it changed in an hour, it was on priority as I gave a piece of my mind to their national service head

The last time I was given a choice to take a new phone or refund cheque, but I don't see any other alternative phones, So I stuck to SII
