converting videos to 3gp etc

i want to convert mpeg,wav,etc to mobile format like 3gp


is there any software to do that

Nokia Multimedia Convertor will do the job. It's free but needs a registration at the Nokia Developer Forums (free too) before downloading.

Here's a guide for PSP - http://peripherals.engadget.com/entry/1234000980024404/ - but you can adapt it for use on your phone by lowering the video res to 208x176 and a video bitrate of <160kbps and audio < 20kbps, <22khz.

As W800i is not Symbian, I don't think you can install stuff on it. Check you manual for formats supported by the default player.

Simply use Xilisoft video convertor, it can even convert from mpg VCDs to 3GP

for video use a bitrate of 128 kbps & for audio AMR Narroband, unless it's music, about 16 kbps 8 KHz stereo for video is enough
