Samsung UK confirms Ice Cream Sandwich update for Samsung Galaxy S II

Not that we doubted Samsung that it will not update Galaxy S II to Android 4.0. But it is always good to get the information from an official statement. Company’s UK Twitter account confirmed today that Galaxy S2 will indeed get the update.

SGS II getting ICS is hardly a news, with King of the Hill performance from its launch, its hardly a surprise, and with the number of sales it will be foolish to keep the large consumer base away from ICS.
India will get it too may be late, till then Custom ROMs FTW!
