Sony Ericsson confirms Android ICS update for 2011 Xperia smartphones

Sony Ericsson recently confirmed that the new Ice Cream Sandwich update will be coming to all their Xperia smartphones released in 2011. The company has not being very specific about the date for the update, but we are guessing it would be spread throughout Q1 2012. Google has also released the source code for Android 4.0 and now most of the manufacturers will take some time to build their own UI over it.

Sony Ericsson has confirmed that the update will be coming to the following smartphones;

Xperia Arc
Xperia Arc S
Xperia Play
Xperia Neo
Xperia Neo V
Xperia Mini
Xperia Mini Pro
Xperia Active
Xperia Ray
Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman

thanx but it is really old news.. It was confirmed before by sony that they will release ICS update for all xperia phones launched in 2011

I'm wondering only this.. My MiniPro has ONLY 512MB of RAM... Will ICS have a higher memory usage or lower than the current Gingerbread..?

Most of the Sony phones have only 512mb. that'd should be more than enough for ICS.
