What backup software/app are your using for your Andoid?

Coming to the point; I am looking for a good paid/free (preferably) Backup app (on phone)/ SW on Win7 for backing up my contacts and SMSes.

Having used a Nokia N85, C7 and BB 9870, I was used to the accompanied Nokia OVi and BB backup softwares which simplified the job for me. I have however realised that Android doesn't come with such a SW and am completely dependent on 3rd party SWs for the same. There are a lot of choices on the market but I want to know which one is reliable and in use mostly by many on the TDF.

Let in your opinions and suggestions.

P.S.: Accompanied SEUS from Sony Erricson failed on many attempts to backup the phone and doesn't offer SMS backup at all.

well, contacts are synced with my Google account.

For SMSes, there are apps available.

How did you sync with google account?

For storing contacts I chose "phone" as the option among "google" & "SE account"

I chose Google.

anyways open the Contacts app and choose 'Merge with Google'
