LG Optimus One- any chance for a price slash?

hey guys, after a long search in web, I opted LG Optimus one as my next phone (my first android). but I've noticed that there wasn't any change in it's price for months. Is there any chance for a price slash?

Companies are cheating... rehashing old phones and relaunching them with a slight spec bump... Optimus One is no longer worth 10k... Its too old... Defy @13k or less is VFM now... Optimus One should not be a rupee over 8k...

nice to see everyone suggesting the right mobile. entrylevel Optimus series is still VFM. recently my friend opted for Fit & his first complain, NFS shift is missing from market maybe more highend apps/games are missing cause of the incompatibility with the pathetic low resolution.

don't buy net as soon as it appears in market. first we need to know how many crapwares are bundled with it & how many free bugs are offered.

I got an offer of from a local dealer from Calicut, Kerala.
LG optimus one, Rs.10000 including Bluedio bluetooth headset.
is that a worth buy? or should I go for Moto Defy?

I'd always suggest Defy over O1.

1. buy lg optimus one for the same price
2. go for dell xcd 35 (arround 8000)
3. arrange 3.5+ k ( ) and grab a moto defy

please suggest me an option , i can't wait for my first android

dropped motorola defy because there are no retail shops and hard to find service moto service centers in Kerala.

one retailer said there is a chance for price slash for optimus one,after november 6th.

A retailer from my town, Calicut , Kerala.
that guy doesn't don't know the amount.
interestingly that was the only such info I've got about the price slash.
but I hope it 'll be true.
