BIG TROUBLE : Connecting mobile with PC

Hi All!

Just bought my new Nokia 7610.But I got a problem on second day whn i try 2 connect it to my PC.I install 'PC Suite 6.3' n after installing Cable drivers i restart it.As PC Suite starts fine but it failed 2 detect my phone which is connected with 'DKU-2 Cable' through USB port I connect n disconnect d phone,uninsatll n re-install software 2 times,changed d USB ports n run 'Add New HardWare Wizard' but nothing happens...Everytime it shows that ur phone is not connected! It seems this PC Suite is BLIND d software CD n Data Cable came along with phone.Plz anybody tell me how 2 solve this so that PC detects my phone?My OS is WinXP SP1...THX IN ADVANCE

first uninstall all the drivers and pc suite from ur pc . now restart and first install the cable drivers , better to get the latest version from the website. after installing the cable drivers u will be prompted to restart again after which u shud connect your phone to the cable which is connected to the pc .. windows will detect your phone as 2-3 devices on startup. after this only (after your phone gets detected) then install pc suite (again install the latest version) . it should work fine now.

i hope u r using the original cable provided by nokia as fake cables mostly dont work. hope this helps.
