Accessing Gmail using Nokia 6600

I want to access my gmail account (POP service) using my 6600....I have got an Airtel GPRS connection...I tried to access Gmail by using the settings given by Gmail, but cud not do so.....Is it possible to do the same using this phone????

try using some other client for POP acess...

Profimail is a symbian OS application capable of using SSL (6600 does not have inherent SSL support for POP email). The software AFAIK is NOT FREE. You can get it from:

Just download the ZIP file (Trial version) from the website, unzip it and transfer it to your phone using IR/BT. Open the file by going to the INBOX and run it.Profimail installs and then you can set it up for using GMAIL. POP setup instructions are available on the GMAIL help site.

You need to have Airtel Mobile office to use POP access for getting mail. If having this, you should not be having any problem accessing gmail
