Mobile Charging through data cable help !!!!!

i bought the mobile LG G3100 beco of the boring bsnls dialup and now i am a gprs user

but i also bought the data cable for it which has a hologram of lg on it

but mobile connected with computer using data cable do not get charged

why is this so ?

any way to charge ?

also

i have also a Samsung SGH-N620 mobile phone which is 2.5 years old

suddenly i plugged it into the lg's data cable and hrray it was being charged

now the conclusion

the lg data cable is not charging its own company mobile (Lg G3100) but charging samsungs mobile

now what the hell is this ?

are you sure you are using datacable for charging mobile??

datacable connects the fone to computer to transfer files. and you will have a seperate charger for charging the fone

It depends upon the PIN Outs buddy!
May be the PIN for charging the LG mobile is different from the Samsung.
And its a coincident that the cable's PIN matches ur Samsung's PIN?
Thats why the cable is charging the Samsung but not LG...

yes, even the k750i charges automatically when connected to the USB port

I dont know about LG phones, but i have a Nokia 6230 and the phone does not get charged when the data cable is attached. I have to charge it using the charger.
Check your phone user manual to see if this feature is supported.
