backflip is a really odd mobile & priced even bad.

Defy is a good competitor of Desire. Defy have better exterior whereas Desire have better interior. Flipkart has priced Ace higher than Defy

^^ Its not far better. Slightly more RAM and similar faster processor. Oh and should be far better UI with HTC sense. But poorer built and very poor battery balances it a bit...
My room mate ordered Desire through saholic on Friday. Eagerly waiting to see how it turns out.

Battery life is bad. Morning to evening under normal working conditions. I am a Desire user.

The phone arrived for my room mate... and seriously battery sucks for the first day. Let me see how much better it will get after a few charge cycles. But frankly, i am sure he would have to use my charger at home and his charger in office. I dont expect it to ever last more than 12 hrs with internet on, and my friend on facebook most of the time along with HTC's default live wallpaper.
Also, camera is worse than Defy.
